Name: Resonata Nero d'Avola
Variety: Nero d'Avola
Region: Sicily
Country: Italy

Vintage Cellar Wine Review: Dense ruby red with violet reflections. Lush and ripe bouquet full of mulberries, blackberries and spice. Harmonious and well balanced with good berry fruit in a spicy background.
My Personal Wine Review: The wine was a pretty dark salmon color with a bitter and woody smell. I definitely tasted the resinous oaky flavor with a rubber flavor as well. It also had small soft tannins to finish off the taste. It was hard to distinguish any mid-palate or levels of flavor with this wine as the taste remained consistent throughout.
I did not have food with this wine.
